Description

Do something different this year with your lesson on the Bill of Rights! Engage your students with a reading and Doodle Notes.

In this activity, students will read about the history of the Bill of Rights, the 10 Amendments and the grievances addressed. Each one page reading has a corresponding section to complete on the Doodle Notes. The reading includes video links and a link to the Bill of Rights. Higher level discussion questions are also included to debate the different amendments.

I have modified this lesson by simplifying the text, emphasizing key terms and adding sentence stems to the Doodle Notes. I have put a small eagle in the corner of the reading so you can tell that this is the differentiated copy.

Please download the preview for detailed directions and samples.

Doodle notes is a trademarked term used with permission. Please visit doodlenotes.org for more information.
