This is an in-person professional development session for Social Studies at Region 14 (Abilene) on July 6th, 2023. 

Are you looking for new ideas to engage your students? Are you struggling meeting the needs of your special populations? This workshop will provide you with tools to engage students and differentiate Social Studies for your students. Teachers will experience different instructional strategies and learn tips to engage all students in their classroom.

If you are interested in a subscription to Social Studies Success, there is an additional fee of $299.

Teachers will:

1. Experience hands-on, student-centered techniques that engage and motivate students.

2.Discover a variety of differentiation tools targeted for diverse students.

3.Learn how use manipulatives to build engagement.

4.Gain an understanding of how rigor can be embedded into everyday instruction.

5.Walk away with resources from  the workshop they can use in their classroom.
