Group Work Contract and Debrief Cards Activity

Description

Tired of groups not working? Use the Groups Work! contract and assessment sheet to hold students accountable for their work within a group as well as the work they produce. Prior to any group work assignment, pass out the Groups Work! contract and review your expectations. Use the Mid-Point check strategies to monitor the groups, progress and learning. The group work check off sheet has been left editable for you to change during different group work assignments. At the end of the project, you can lead a discussion with the debrief cards and have students assess each other with the Group Assessment handout (I have made different ones to accommodate groups from 3-5).
